Pitches, Caravans and Motorhomes

We have several camping areas for grass pitches and electric hook up points for campervans, caravans and motorhomes. You can choose a secluded spot, or be at the heart of the action


Whatever your preference, camping at the heart of the Cotswolds is a beautiful way to take in the surrounding countryside, explore the local area and relax as easy or as hard as you want. 

Basic Grass Pitches

There is plenty of space to play and all the on site activities are close by, although will not interfere with your stay, for those who want some peace and quiet.


Our friendly campsite wardens will make sure you have everything you need to settle in and all the information about events and activities will be available from the site reception or the climbing centre.

£30* per night


*There is a minimum booking period of 3 nights for Bank Holiday weekends and 2 nights at all other times unless pre arranged with the management

Electric Hook Up Pitches

The majority of our hook ups are situated around the Chilterns, Mendips and Quantocks fields. We have plenty of hook ups and It is a 16A supply. Prices are slightly higher than a basic pitch - please see our price tariff for details.


Motorhomes and caravans are welcome in this area and although grass, we have excellent flat(ish) ground to park on.

The Glade

The Glade is completely surrounded by woodland and hedgerow, and set in a slight dip away from the main camping area.


To keep the area natural and quiet, we do not allow cars to park in the glade, but we have a small parking area with immediate access for you to use. We provide wheelbarrows and trolleys for you to transport all your belongings to your pitch. 


Due to limited space, our pricing structure is slightly different - taking into account the berth of your tent (the larger the tent, the higher the price).


The Glade has its own toilet, shower and washing block and is also the home to our Shepherds Huts, Tipi Tents and Glamping Domes .

Glade Prices

Grass Pitch 1-4 berth tent £40 per night (inc. 4 people)


Grass Pitch 5-8 berth tent £50 per night (inc. 6 people)

PLEASE NOTE: Tents larger than 8 berth are no longer permitted in the GLADE camping area.

CAMPSITE FACILITIES

We have plenty of facilities here at Far Peak to make sure your camping experience is comfortable.

EHU Field Toilet and Washrooms

Our main campsite fields have 3 unisex shower and toilet blocks, with one situated on the Cheviots EHU field.


The showers have huge (but not infinite) water tanks and are gas heated. Each block also has communal washing up sinks and hand wash basins. 


There are also 240v supply for hair dryers etc.

Chemical toilets

We have a basic chemical toilet disposal point on the Cheviots field.

Quantock Toilet and Washrooms

The other 2 blocks are positioned between the Cotswold and Quantock fields, with 3 showers and 4 toilets each. 


The showers have huge (but not infinite) water tanks and are gas heated. Each block also has communal washing up sinks and hand wash basins. 


There are also 240v supply for hair dryers etc.

Freezers

There are 3 freezers available on site to store your own freezer blocks - not your 3 course dinner though.

Campsite Shop

Our campsite shop sells everything (you may have forgotten to pack (or have run out of too). 


A range of sundries, from toothpaste to tent pegs and also some fresh local produce too, including, eggs, milk and some sweet treats.  We even have a freezer full of Ice Creams.
